Travel fellowships for WCSJ 2017

Travel fellowships are available for the WCSJ meeting in San Francisco this October. The grants will provide full or partial support to cover economy airfare, accommodation for the duration of the conference, and reasonable ground transport up to a maximum amount. Transcultural Summer School

Grants are available to attend the STEAM science communication summer school at Rhine-Waal University in Germany this July. Larry Krumenaker Is 2015 “Journalist in Residence” at Heidelberg

ISWA’s former webmaster, North American science writer Larry Krumenaker is the 2015 “Journalist in Residence” at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS). The program offers science journalists a stay of up to 6 months at the institute which has a focus on data-driven research in areas ranging from astrophysics to cell biology.
